Giant Sensitive Fern

Giant Sensitive Fern is a larger variety of the classic sensitive plant, spreading 6 to 8 feet along the vine. While its leaves still fold when touched, they do so more slowly and are slightly less reactive than the standard variety. Bright yellow, sweet-pea-like flowers bloom from late summer into fall, adding cheerful color to your pond. This floating plant grows 3 to 6 inches tall and provides welcome shade for fish. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is hardy in Zones 8–11.
