Mosaic plant
Scientific Name: Ludwigia sedioides
The mosaic plant, has 3" round clusters of small red and green leaves which make this pond plant a favorite by many. They grow from a central radius so that the foliage forms a mosaic-like circle. Plant about 6" below the surface and the leaf clusters will spread about 2' across. It has small, single yellow flowers that bloom mostly during summer.
This plant thrives in warm, sunny, and calm water conditions, making it an excellent choice for container gardens or an undisturbed pool.
