Marsh Marigold

Marsh marigold is a hardy, perennial that brings vibrant color to water gardens in early spring.  This plant is valued for its bright, cheerful blooms and its ability to thrive in consistently moist environments.
 Marsh marigold performs best in full sun to light shade and in soils that remain wet or saturated. 
They feature glossy, deep green basal leaves that are round to heart- or kidney-shaped, with a distinctive narrow notch at the base. Leaf margins may be smooth or lightly scalloped.
With its early-season blooms, lush foliage, and adaptability to wet conditions, marsh marigold is an excellent choice for adding color, texture, and seasonal interest to ponds, and water garden.
